Mr M Morgan Lloyd v JFG Telemetry Ltd T/A KDG Telemetry & Others — 2019

By a judgment sent on 8 August 2019, Employment Judge Livesey struck out the claimant's complaint of unauthorised deduction from wages for the period 1988 to 2013. The tribunal had already made an order on 21 June 2019 giving the claimant an opportunity to explain why the wages complaint should not be struck out, including on the basis that the tribunal's jurisdiction was limited to deductions made in the two years before the claim form was presented.

The claimant did not make written representations, did not make sufficient representations, and did not request a hearing. On that basis, the tribunal struck out the wages complaint. The judgment records that the claimant's remaining claims were still listed for hearing on 20 September 2019, and those claims were not determined in this decision.
