Corrections policy

How we handle errors

Every datum on this site is extracted from a published tribunal judgment. Extraction is fallible — names get split incorrectly, award figures get misread, claim categories get over- or under-tagged. When you spot an error, tell us.

What we will correct

  • Mis-extracted facts: wrong respondent name, wrong claimant initials, incorrect award amount, missing or wrong judge name.
  • Mis-classified claim types — for example, a constructive dismissal case tagged only as unfair dismissal.
  • Broken links to source PDFs on gov.uk.
  • Stale employer-resolution links (e.g. a case attributed to a superseded company name).

How to flag an error

Send a message to the address on the About page. Include the URL of the affected page, the field you believe is wrong, and what the correct value should be. If you can, link the relevant paragraph or page of the source PDF — it materially speeds up review.

Turnaround

Acknowledged within five working days; corrected within one calendar month, sooner where the error is clear-cut. Substantive corrections are noted in a public corrections log linked from this page (forthcoming as the corrections backlog establishes).

Tribunal-anonymised cases

Some judgments are issued under restricted reporting orders or with parties anonymised by the tribunal — these appear on Tribunal Watch with initials only and no employer link. If you are aware of a case that should have been treated as anonymised but was not, see the takedown / data-subject requests page rather than this one.
