This short judgment dealt only with case management. At a hearing in Southampton on 22 November 2019 before Employment Judge Rayner, the respondent, Mrs Anne Cooke t/a Reilley’s Café Restaurant and Bar, appeared in person. The first claimant, Mrs J Northam, appeared in person and the second claimant, Miss G Birch, was represented by her mother, Mrs M Birch.

The tribunal refused the respondent's renewed application to adjourn the hearing. It also dismissed the respondent's application for reconsideration of the judgment of Employment Judge Livesey dated 4 July 2018, which had been issued to the parties on 10 July 2018. The judgment of Employment Judge Livesey was therefore confirmed.

The reasons for the underlying 2018 judgment are not set out in this decision, so no substantive findings on the merits of the original employment claims appear in this text. The decision records only the refusal of the adjournment request and the dismissal of the reconsideration application.
