Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningMr A Wojdylo was employed by Grid Global Ltd from 1 June 2010 to 15 June 2022 as a Graphic Designer, with a gross weekly wage of £490.38. The respondent did not enter an appearance and did not attend the hearing. The tribunal found that the respondent had failed to pay wages for April, May and 1 to 15 June 2022, which it treated as an unauthorised deduction from wages, and ordered payment of £5,230.77 gross.
The tribunal also found that the respondent had failed to pay the claimant's employer and employee pension contributions to Nest for the period from December 2021 to the end of employment. Those contributions were recorded on payslips, and the tribunal treated the failure to pay them as a further unauthorised deduction from wages, ordering £966.90 gross. It further found that the claimant had been dismissed in breach of contract in respect of notice and awarded £5,884.56 gross damages.
In addition, the tribunal found that the claimant was dismissed by reason of redundancy and was entitled to a redundancy payment of £6,129.75. It also found that the respondent had failed to pay the claimant's holiday entitlement and ordered £735.60 gross. The total awarded by the judgment was £18,947.58.

Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
