Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningEmployment Judge Gray sat alone in Bristol by CVP on 21 December 2020 and gave judgment on the claimants' protective award complaints. The tribunal declared that Jordan Manufacturing Ltd (in administration) had failed to comply with section 188 of the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992 in relation to claimants who were employees at its Bristol premises and were dismissed as redundant on or after 18 June 2019.
For those Jordan Manufacturing claimants, the tribunal made a protective award and held that each qualifying employee was entitled to remuneration for a protected period of 90 days beginning on the date of dismissal, regardless of the actual termination date. The written judgment also states the usual recoupment information for protective awards.
The tribunal made the same declaration against Redhall Group PLC (in administration) for claimants who were employees at its Bristol premises and were dismissed as redundant on or after 28 June 2019. It again ordered a protective award with a 90-day protected period beginning on each employee's date of dismissal. The judgment records that the claimants' other complaints would be dealt with by separate judgments.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
