The judgment was issued under rule 21 after no valid response was presented. It recorded that the claimant's former employer was the second respondent, Stargazy Inns Limited, so the first respondent was dismissed from the proceedings. The claimant's claim for unlawful deduction from wages succeeded against the second respondent. The tribunal found that she was owed £1,738.00 for wages in June and July 2022, that she had received £1,257.38, and that the unpaid balance was £481.38 gross.

The claimant's claim for accrued but unpaid holiday pay also succeeded against the second respondent. The tribunal ordered payment of £508.75 gross for that claim. The second respondent was therefore ordered to pay the claimant £990.13 in total.

The tribunal also found that the third respondent, Mr Paul Sutcliffe, was an employee and agent of the second respondent and that the claimant was discriminated against by him on the grounds of her sex. For that claim the tribunal awarded £3,000.00 for injury to feelings, together with interest at 8% per annum calculated at 68p per day for 380 days, which produced an additional £258.40. The third respondent was therefore ordered to pay £3,258.40 in total. Taken together, the orders in the judgment total £4,248.53.
