Employment Judge Livesey, sitting alone at Bristol by CVP on 9 January 2025, heard four linked claims by former workers of Millgarden Botanics LLP (in voluntary liquidation). The claimants appeared in person; the respondent did not attend. The tribunal found that the respondent had made unauthorised deductions from the claimants' wages, was in breach of contract in respect of notice, had failed to make redundancy payments and had failed to pay the claimants' holiday entitlements.

The tribunal ordered the respondent to pay each claimant the relevant sums, having accounted for amounts already received from the Insolvency Service / Redundancy Payments Service. The net totals ordered were £4,947.08 to Mr Pavitt, £3,598.88 to Mrs Rabetts, £1,238.25 to Miss Wood and £12,141.36 to Mrs Lombard. The Fourth Claimant's separate claim of unfair dismissal was dismissed upon withdrawal.
