Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe Tribunal struck out the claimant's unfair dismissal claim against Healthmatic. It recorded that by letter dated 29 June 2020 it had given the claimant an opportunity to make written representations, or request a hearing, on why the claim should not be struck out because he had been employed for less than two years and therefore did not have the right not to be unfairly dismissed.
The claimant did not make written representations and did not request a hearing. On that basis, Employment Judge JM Wade struck out the unfair dismissal claim on 15 July 2020 under rule 37.
The judgment also noted that the claimant had presented a second claim, number 1803683/2020, alleging wrongful dismissal and unpaid wages, and stated that this would continue unless resolved. That second claim was not determined in this judgment.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
