Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe tribunal dismissed the unfair dismissal claim because it was not brought within the statutory time limit when it was reasonably practicable to do so, so the tribunal had no jurisdiction to consider it. The hearing was before Employment Judge Self with Ms T Bryant and Ms S Slotnik sitting as lay members.
The maternity discrimination claim was also outside the ordinary time limit, but the tribunal extended time because it considered it just and equitable to do so. That claim was then found well founded. The tribunal awarded £1,121.93 for loss of earnings and £2,500 for injury to feelings, and ordered interest of £599.40 on the award made under paragraph 3.
In addition, because the claimant had not been given a written statement of terms and conditions of employment, the tribunal ordered compensation of two weeks' pay in the sum of £299.18. The total sum payable under the judgment was £4,520.51.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
