The claimant was employed on separate contracts between July 2014 and October 2017. The Tribunal found that continuity of employment existed only in respect of the claimant's playworker role at the respondent's camel club, and that this period ran continuously from July 2014 to 16 October 2017. On that basis, the Tribunal held that it had jurisdiction to hear an unfair dismissal claim arising from that employment only.

The Tribunal also held that it did not have jurisdiction to hear an unfair dismissal claim in relation to any of the claimant's other periods of employment with the respondent. It further found that the unfair dismissal claim within jurisdiction was submitted in time. No decision was made on whether the claimant's other claims were presented in time, and that issue was left to be addressed at the full merits hearing.
