Respondent
Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe judgment recorded that all claims were struck out. The respondent, Casual Dining Services Ltd, had been dissolved on 23 January 2024, and the claimant had not applied to have it restored to the Register of Companies.
The Tribunal had written to the claimant on 18 December 2023 to say there was an active proposal at Companies House to dissolve the respondent company. The letter, sent on the instructions of EJ Fowell, advised that if the claimant wished to pursue the claim he would need to show cause to the Registrar of Companies why the respondent should not be struck off the register.
The claimant emailed the Tribunal on 30 January 2024 with narrative information about his claims and grievance with his former employer. Judge M Aspinall held that this did not assist because the respondent company no longer existed, and was satisfied that the claimant had not actively pursued his claims in a manner which would allow them to continue. No remedy was awarded.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
