The Tribunal struck out the complaint in respect of a redundancy payment. In a letter dated 4 December 2024, the claimant was given an opportunity to make representations, or to request a hearing, on why that claim should not be struck out for having no reasonable prospect of success. The Tribunal recorded that the claim had no reasonable prospect of success because the claimant had not been employed for two complete years when employment ended, so the right to a redundancy payment did not arise.

The claimant did not make any representations or request a hearing. The redundancy payment claim was therefore struck out under Rule 38(1)(a). The Tribunal noted that the claimant’s remaining claims would be considered at a case management hearing on 11 September 2025.
