Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe claimant brought complaints of unlawful deduction from wages against the respondent, which did not attend the hearing. In its ET3 presented on 30 November 2023, the respondent admitted at section 6.1 that the claimant was entitled to £12,253.32 gross in unpaid salary for May to August 2023 and £676.92 gross representing a retention bonus payable in June 2023. The Tribunal accordingly ordered the respondent to pay the claimant a total of £12,930.24 in settlement of these original complaints.
A further complaint regarding unpaid pension contributions was dismissed upon withdrawal by the claimant, who accepted the Tribunal did not have jurisdiction to determine it. The claimant's application of 4 January 2024 to amend his claim to update losses arising since the original claim form was presented was allowed in the absence of objection from the non-attending respondent, with case management to be addressed within the Note of Preliminary Hearing for the Jimenez multiple dated 22 February 2024.
Reasons were given orally at the hearing; no written reasons accompany the judgment.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
