This was a preliminary hearing before Employment Judge K M Ross sitting alone on 23 June 2022, heard remotely by telephone in Manchester. The tribunal dealt only with preliminary issues. It struck out the claimant's 'ordinary' unfair dismissal claim under sections 95 and 98 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 because she had insufficient service to present that claim.

The tribunal also recorded that the claimant's disability discrimination claims were dismissed on withdrawal by the claimant, with her consent. No merits findings were made on those discrimination allegations. The judgment stated that the claimant's other claims were unaffected and would proceed to hearing.
