The order required any payment to be made by 13 December 2019 and was sent to the claimant on 16 November 2019.
The claimant did not pay either deposit by the due date. The tribunal recorded that a payment of £50 was received late on 16 December 2019. Because the deposits were not paid in time, the two complaints to which the deposit order related were struck out under rule 39(4) of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure 2013.
The judgment states that the hearing fixed for 2 March 2020 would proceed only in respect of the remaining claims of unfair dismissal and breach of contract.
