Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningMrs J White brought claims against Elan Fire and Security Group Limited for an unauthorised deduction from wages, notice pay, and accrued holiday pay. The Tribunal recorded that the Respondent conceded each of those monetary claims in the ET3 Response Form. It therefore ordered payment of £1,833.33 gross for one month’s wages, £423.08 gross for one week’s notice pay, and £253.86 gross for three days’ accrued but untaken holiday as at the date of dismissal.
The Tribunal also dealt with a contract claim brought by the Respondent about the value of property allegedly retained by the Claimant. That claim was dismissed. The Tribunal found it had no jurisdiction to consider the claim because it was not presented within the six-week period beginning with the day on which the employer received from the Tribunal a copy of the originating application in respect of the Claimant’s contract claim, and it appeared to the Tribunal that it was reasonably practicable for the Respondent to have presented it within that period.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
