Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe tribunal heard evidence from the claimant, considered the ET1 and ET3, and noted that the respondent did not appear. It found that the claimant normally worked five days a week for eight hours a day at £9.13 per hour, earning £73.04 per day, £365.20 per week, and £1,582.53 per month.
For April and May 2020, the tribunal found that the respondent told the claimant to remain at home and not work, and paid her only £95 per week sick pay instead of her normal pay. It accepted that she was willing and able to work during that period and assessed her monthly loss at £1,170.86, resulting in awards of £1,170.86 for April 2020 and £1,170.86 for May 2020.
The tribunal also found that the claimant's maternity leave ended on 7 April 2021 and that her employment continued until 31 May 2021, a period of 7.5 weeks during which she was not paid or furloughed. It calculated that, had she been furloughed, she would have received 80% of her normal weekly rate, producing an award of £2,191.20 for that period. In addition, it entered formal judgment for 15 days' holiday pay, calculated at £1,095.60, because the respondent had already been ordered by letter to pay that admitted claim but had not done so. The total judgment was £5,628.52, payable by 30 December 2021.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
