At a video hearing in Watford on 25 April 2024, Employment Judge Robinson found that there was a TUPE transfer from Pebble Hand and Foot Sanctuary Ltd (in voluntary liquidation) to G&T Hitchin Limited. The tribunal held that the claimants were made redundant by the first respondent without receiving redundancy pay or notice pay, and that the first respondent was not insolvent at the time of the transfer, so a claim could not be made from the National Insurance Fund.

The tribunal further held that liability for both redundancy pay and notice pay transferred to the third respondent. It ordered G&T Hitchin Limited to pay Mrs White £3,876.11 redundancy pay and £2,214.94 notice pay; Mrs Lalite £4,821.25 redundancy pay and £1,671.37 notice pay; Miss Holmes £3,262.50 redundancy pay and £1,885 notice pay; and Miss Culmer £2,414.06 redundancy pay and £996.28 notice pay. The total of the awards set out in the judgment is £21,141.51.
