Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe respondent did not enter a response and did not attend the hearing. The claimant produced his contract of employment. The tribunal found that the contract entitled him to four weeks' notice and that he was dismissed without notice in circumstances where the respondent had no contractual right to do so. It therefore upheld the claimant's claim for damages for breach of contract / wrongful dismissal and awarded four weeks' pay, calculated at £892.64 net.
On annual leave, the tribunal found that the claimant was entitled under his contract to four weeks' paid holiday per year. It accepted the claimant's evidence that he had accrued 20 days' leave by the point of termination, had taken 10 days, and should therefore have been paid in lieu of the remaining 10 days. The tribunal calculated the daily rate at £55.79 gross, giving holiday pay of £557.90 gross and £446.32 net, and ordered payment of that net amount.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
