On 24 June 2020 the tribunal notified the claimant that it was considering striking out the claim for non-pursuit and invited written reasons by 8 July 2020, or a request for a hearing to oppose strikeout. The claimant did not respond. The tribunal therefore concluded that no acceptable reason had been given to avoid strikeout and dismissed the claim procedurally without reaching the merits of any underlying redundancy pay or unfair dismissal issues.
