EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNALS (SCOTLAND) Case Number: 4112863/2015 Mrs L Stirling
Respondent
Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe Tribunal struck out the claim under rule 37 of Schedule 1 to the Employment Tribunals (Constitution and Rules of Procedure) Regulations 2013, on the ground that it had not been actively pursued under rule 37(1)(d).
The claimant's solicitors had withdrawn from acting. The Tribunal asked the claimant to confirm whether she wished to pursue the claim, and later wrote on 6 November 2023 warning that an Employment Judge was considering strike out unless she gave reasons in writing by 20 November 2023 or asked for a hearing.
The claimant told the Tribunal she would contact the union to ascertain the status of her claim, but there was no further contact. The Tribunal concluded that she no longer wished to pursue the claim and struck it out.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
