Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningFollowing ACAS early conciliation, the claimant presented an ET1 complaining of unfair dismissal from her role as an exhibition sales executive, the employment having ended on 16 September 2014. The tribunal hearing proceeded on 16 April 2015 in the claimant's absence of opposition, and the tribunal found the complaint well founded. Judgment was entered awarding £20,503.56, made up of a basic award of £502.56, a compensatory award of £18,801.00, and a refund of tribunal fees of £1,200.00.
The respondent company was later dissolved, and the claimant sought reconsideration in relation to Eventrix Scotland Ltd. The tribunal listed and then adjourned/sisted the reconsideration application while correspondence continued, but the claimant's solicitor later withdrew for lack of instructions and no response was received to the tribunal's letters warning that strike out under rule 37(1)(e) was being considered. On 30 May 2018 Employment Judge Ian McPherson struck out the reconsideration application because it had not been actively pursued and confirmed the earlier judgment without variation.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
