Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningMrs Justyna Bilotiene presented her claim on 21 January 2025 and the Tribunal acknowledged it on 25 February 2025. A preliminary hearing by telephone was listed for 9 June 2025. On 8 May 2025 the Tribunal told the parties that the response had been accepted and ordered the Claimant to provide further particulars sought in the underlined section of the Response by 22 May 2025, while also reminding the parties of the hearing.
The Claimant did not engage with the Respondent or the Tribunal after that order. The Respondent received no correspondence from the Claimant, and when it sent a draft case management agenda and list of issues on 27 May 2025, there was no reply. The Respondent also sent those documents to the Tribunal on 5 June 2025, again without response from the Claimant.
At the hearing on 9 June 2025 the Claimant was not in attendance. The Judge asked the clerks to call her; she said at around 12:14 that she would join the hearing, but she still had not joined by 12:22 and was later reported as having the link for the hearing. A further call went to voicemail and she did not attend. The Tribunal considered the available information under Rule 47 of the Employment Tribunal Procedure Rules 2024 and concluded it was in the interests of justice to dismiss the claim because the Claimant had notice of the hearing, had been reminded of it, had failed to comply with the Tribunal's order, had not responded to the Respondent's correspondence, and had failed to attend despite indicating that she would do so.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
