Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe claimant brought a complaint alleging an unauthorised deduction of wages of GBP 680 in respect of August 2023. The complaint was presented on 15 July 2024, after the ordinary three-month time limit had expired.
The tribunal accepted that the claimant could not present the claim during the period covered by his bail conditions, which prevented contact with the respondent, and found that period ended on 7 June 2024. The claimant then had about five weeks before presenting the claim and gave no explanation for the further delay.
The tribunal concluded that the claimant was out of time and that the further delay after 7 June 2024 was not reasonable. The unauthorised deduction of wages claim was dismissed.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
