Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe claim was presented on 19 October 2024. It was first served on the respondent at 1 Baynhall Oast Houses, Main Road, Kempsey, Worcester, but was later re-served on 3 February 2025 to Baynhall Investments, Brook House, Moss Grove, Kingswinford because the original address was considered unlikely to bring the claim to the respondent’s attention. The respondent did not submit a valid response within the prescribed time, and the Employment Judge determined that the claim, or part of it, could properly be decided under Rule 22 of the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure.
The tribunal found the claimant’s complaint of unauthorised deductions from wages to be well-founded. It ordered the respondent to pay £5,000 gross in respect of the period 1 June 2024 to 3 July 2024 and £500 gross for car allowance, making £5,500 gross on that claim. The tribunal also found that the respondent had failed to pay the claimant’s holiday entitlement and ordered payment of £2,330.28 gross.
The total amount payable to the claimant was £7,830.28, less deductions for tax and national insurance. The judgment was approved by Employment Judge Wedderspoon Date on 12 September 2025 and sent to the parties on 15 September 2025.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
