The tribunal found that in June 2024 wages were paid three weeks late, in July 2024 only part of the wages were paid late, and in August and September 2024 no wages were paid. The claimant repeatedly asked when she would be paid, received verbal assurances that payment would follow, and later went off sick. She sent fit notes and emails in November and December 2024 asking about unpaid wages and support during illness, but the respondent did not reply. Partial wage payments were made on 2 and 19 December 2024 without the breakdowns or payslips the claimant had requested, and there was no contact from the respondent in early January 2025 about wages or her welfare.
