Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningThe claim was presented on 28 May 2025. The respondent was already in administration, and the administrator confirmed in writing on 30 July 2025 that there was no objection to the claim proceeding. In correspondence, the claimant said she did not intend to pursue her unfair dismissal claim or redundancy payment claim because she did not have qualifying service, and those claims were withdrawn and dismissed.
On the evidence before it, the tribunal found that the claimant had been employed by the respondent from 4 May 2024 to 30 April 2025 as Group Financial Controller, with salary of £72,000 per annum, one month’s contractual notice and 35 days’ annual leave. It found that, after payments from the Insolvency Service, the sums still due were £2,405 outstanding wages, £2,064.72 outstanding holiday pay and £5,281 outstanding notice pay. The respondent was ordered to pay those sums.
The claimant also applied to amend her claim to add a protective award, but the tribunal was not persuaded that she would be able to show that the respondent dismissed as redundant 20 or more employees at the same establishment, and it refused that amendment. The claimant’s proposed Equality Act 2010 complaints of sex harassment and victimisation were allowed to be added, but service on the administrator was directed and consideration of those complaints was continued rather than determined in this judgment.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
