Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningAt the preliminary hearing in Leeds on 15 February 2019, Employment Judge Cox varied the interim relief order made on 6 August 2018. Paragraph 2.2 was replaced so that Anchor Trust must pay Mrs S Badshah each month the sum of £1,542.84 during any period when she is fit for work, and statutory sick pay at £92.05 per week, rising to £94.25 per week from 6 April 2019, during any period when she is unfit for work and meets the qualifying criteria for SSP. The order states that those sums may be subject to deductions for income tax, National Insurance contributions and other deductions provided for in the Claimant’s contract.
