Key findings
Tribunal's reasoningAt a preliminary hearing on 6 October 2022, Employment Judge Craft decided that the claimant's unfair dismissal claim was out of time and that it was not reasonably practicable for him to have pursued it within the relevant limit. The tribunal held that it therefore had no jurisdiction to consider the claim and dismissed it on that basis.
The tribunal also dismissed the claimant's disability discrimination claims, which were described as claims under sections 13 and 15 of the Equality Act 2010, together with the disability-related harassment claim under section 26. It found those claims were not brought within the section 123 time limit and that it was not just and equitable to extend time to allow them to proceed.
A further claim that the claimant suffered a detriment because he made protected disclosures was also dismissed because it was not presented in time and the tribunal held it had no jurisdiction to consider it. As a result of the preliminary hearing decision, the full hearing listed for 29 August to 1 September 2023 was vacated.

How we got this data
Case essentials (reference, date, judge, venue, country, claim categories) are extracted from the structured metadata gov.uk publishes alongside each decision. Parties and monetary figures are extracted from the judgment PDF text. Key findings and per-claim outcomes require a second extraction pass that is not yet complete for this case — until then, the primary source linked above is the authoritative record.
