The tribunal found that Mr G Terry was dismissed by Albatern Ltd on 17 February 2017, which was the effective date of termination, and that the reason for dismissal was redundancy. On that basis it awarded him a statutory redundancy payment of £2,395.
The tribunal also ordered the respondent to pay £2,500 in lieu of five weeks' statutory notice entitlement and £600 for paid annual leave entitlement accrued but untaken as at the effective date of termination. In addition, it directed payment to the National Employers Savings Trust of £56.56 employee National Insurance contribution and £70.70 employer National Insurance contribution in respect of the claimant's February pension entitlement, with those sums to be paid to the claimant if not paid by 11 August 2017.
The judgment states that the reasons were delivered orally at the conclusion of the hearing on 3 August 2017 and that no written Note of Reasons was appended.
